In addition, he served as Vice President of Multichannel Commerce and CIO of Red Wing Shoe Company where he transformed the organization by implementing an IT business partner program that delivered comprehensive business capabilities, provided reliable and insightful business insights, and substantially enhanced the reputation of IT within the organization. Earlier in his career, Joe served as McGladrey’s first CIO, where he introduced new IT platforms for the firm’s largest lines of business and helped lead key initiatives for firm-wide cultural transformation. He was recruited to establish Bank of New York’s IT function for its new retail clearance and settlement operation as CIO, as well as developing the firm’s e-business strategy and implementing B2B ecommerce capabilities.
